Dencity — Affiliate / Influencer Terms

These terms apply if you join Dencity's influencer programme and promote it to businesses. They're in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Joining & approval

You apply in the app and receive a referral link. Applications are reviewed and must be approved before you earn anything. We may decline, pause or end your participation at any time.

2. Commission

• You earn 50% of the first payment of a featured-listing purchase made by a business that signs up through your referral link and that we approve and that actually pays (a one-time commission per business — not recurring), subject to these terms.
• Commission is calculated on the amount we actually receive (excluding taxes, fees and refunds). The earnings shown in the app are an estimate until confirmed and payable.
• We may change commission rates or the structure going forward, on notice.

3. Attribution

A business is attributed to you when they sign up through your link and we record the referral. Each business can be attributed to one influencer. We determine attribution in good faith and our determination is final.

4. Payouts & clawbacks

• Commissions become payable only after the business's payment has cleared and any refund/chargeback window has passed.
• We may set a minimum payout threshold and a payment schedule (e.g. monthly). You must provide accurate payout and tax details before we can pay you.
• If a referred payment is refunded or reversed, the related commission is forfeited or clawed back.

5. No fraud, no self-dealing

You may not refer yourself, create fake businesses or accounts, use misleading or spammy tactics, or otherwise game the programme. Doing so forfeits commissions and may end your participation and lead to account suspension.

6. Honest promotion & disclosure

You must promote Dencity honestly and lawfully and clearly disclose that you may earn a commission (as required by advertising and consumer-protection rules). Don't make false claims about Dencity or guarantee results.

7. Independent & tax

You participate as an independent party, not an employee or agent of Dencity. You're responsible for your own taxes on any commission you receive.

8. Changes & ending

We may update these terms or end the programme on reasonable notice. Commissions properly earned before the change/end (and not subject to clawback) will still be paid.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by South African law.
